Collection: Hello Nature

Most of my life has been in the outdoors.  Even growing up in West Texas in the dry, flat and windy climate where tumbleweeds, horny toads and black widow spiders were our neighbors.

Moving to the big city of humid Houston, Mother Nature took quite a turn into enormous blossoms of azaleas, crepe myrtles, pansies, petunias and the famous Texas flower, The Bluebonnet.

Wanting a change from drippy humid, giant roaches, and too frequent hurricanes coming from the Gulf of Mexico, I wanted a new life of dry climate, and found The Sonoran Desert.

Cactus and gravel yards was very different for me, and I refused to leave my love vibrant color of yards and gardening daily.  Difficult to keep my petunias alive but I have embraced the summer monsoon seasons and then found the magical world of bonsai.

Bonsai studies took me to a new level of horticulture.  Understanding deciduous, conifers, tropicals and evergreen species of plants elevated my endearment of seasonal color, intricate leaves, textured bark, gnarly roots and of course, migrating butterflies, dragonflies that love my koi pond, lady bugs, bees and hummingbirds.

I share these visions of Mother Nature with you.  I hope you love them as much as have enjoyed sharing them with you.
